Heyford
BY CAR:
From M40 exit at Junction 10 (Ardley) take the B430 to Middleton Stoney turning
right on to B4030 at the traffic lights. At Lower Heyford crossroads turn left,
we are half a mile down this road on the right.
BY TRAIN:
We are next door to Heyford Station, which has direct trains connecting with
London, Reading, Oxford and Banbury. Sunday trains may operate on Sundays from
May to September - please check before making travel arrangements
BY PLANE:
Fly into either London Heathrow or Gatwick, or Birmingham International. From
Heathrow take either the Heathrow Express into London Paddington or the RailAir
coach to Reading thence train to Heyford. From London Gatwick take the fast
train to Reading, change onto the train to Heyford. From Birmingham International
take the train to Banbury, thence local train to Heyford (or a taxi if no train
convenient).
Radcot
BY CAR:
Follow the A420 between Oxford and Swindon. Turn at the roundabout for Faringdon
and follow signs for the A4095 to Bampton, which is accessed via Faringdon Town
Centre. Remain on this road for approx 4 miles until you reach the traffic light-controlled
narrow bridges at Radcot. After the first bridge, but before the second, turn
right into the field car park where you will find the boats moored adjacent.
BY TRAIN:
Radcot base is unfortunately a significant (15mile) taxi ride from either Oxford,
Didcot Parkway, or Swindon rail stations. No buses serve the village.Trains
to any of these stations from London Paddington, Reading and many other places.
BY PLANE:
as for Heyford base but take the train from Reading, Paddington, or Birmingham
to Didcot Parkway and a taxi from that point.
