Kizzies offers waterside alfresco dining and drinking including a new pergola and inside seating for less clement weather. There are lots of tables with parasols in our large garden to provide plenty of shade on sunnier days: watch the boats, trains, and swans go by.

Fully licenced….we accept payment by card or cash.

Serving a breakfast and lunch menu, tea, coffee and locally sourced cakes as well as bottled ales, ciders, soft drinks and a hand picked selection of wines from our friends at Oxford Wine Company.

Kizzies is now also a village shop offering a small selection of essential items including bread, milk and eggs aswell as gifts, ice creams and homemade chutneys, pickles & jams from our resident Ma’amalady!

We are super excited to announce the return of Mikron Theatre to Heyford Wharf this summer.

Performing Wensleydale Whey, Mikron will transport you to the Yorkshire Dales, in a hilarious quest to revive a lost recipe!

Expect a cheesy plot, a sprinkle of drama , and plenty of fromage-tastic musical numbers.

So join us in Kizzies Garden on Saturday 1st August, performance starts at 7pm - it’s going to be a legen-dairy Mikron show!

Please Note: This is a non ticketed event. A pay what you feel collection will be taken after the show., Seats and tables cannot be reserved however you are most welcome to bring your own chairs and blankets. Food and drink not purchased in kizzies cannot be consummed on the premises.

Please Note: We operate on a first come, first served basis. However, if you are proposing to arrive with more than 8 people e.g. cycle or vintage car clubs, or if you are one of our hirers arriving to collect/disembarking our boats, it would be a good idea to get in touch in advance so that we can plan accordingly - hirers are given priority if pre-booked!
