LONG TERM NARROWBOAT HIRE

If you are looking for longer term boat hire, cruising for a month or more, visit Long Term Narrowboat Hire. Owned by the Oxfordshire Narrowboats' Managing Director, David Dare, it offers private owner-styled boats equipped with extra things such as washing machines, solar panels and solid fuel stoves which help to make living aboard a great experience!

Based at Lower Heyford on the Oxford Canal the boats are priced at little more than 50% the cost of hiring for four individual weeks or more - ideal for exploring all around the English Canals.

Full training, tuition, and all equipment/inventory provided within the hire fee. The only extras are fuel, gas, and any extra licences you may need for non-CRT waterways such as the River Thames.

Please note:  Minimum crew required is 2pp – LTNBH cannot hire to solo boaters. We only hire for genuine bonafide long term cruising, for a minimum period of one month in monthly increments. We do not hire for long-term houseboat or static liveaboard purposes (such as around Oxford for students, nurses etc) unless you are able to provide a registered, legitimate, canal mooring address and we can verify that mooring as being compliant with navigation authority regulations.
